Found Crochet Again

When I was about 10(possibly even younger) I learned how to crochet in Girl Scouts. We learned how to make mittens which we then sent to an organization who would distribute them among children who were less fortunate. After that I went on with my normal, everyday life, and left crocheting behind.

Twelve years and 2 children later, I have found it once again. I started from the very begining, relearning every single stitch before even thinking about starting a project. Needless to say it is now my biggest passion. I have made hats of all kinds, slippers, mittens, afghans, and stuffed animals, and I will continue to explore all the possibilities until my fingers will no longer concentrate with me.

I have started this blog to not only help myself keep track of progress being made, but to also share the art of crochet with other people. I will be posting pictures and stories(because behind every one of my projects there is ALWAYS an interesting story that happened while crocheting) as well as posting how-to's and patterns that I come up with(and pattern I have permission to link to)

I hope to get a whole following of younger crocheters such as myself. My fiance keeps telling me that "only old people crochet and knit", well I hope to prove him very wrong on that though!
